Mr. Khafi, the Deputy of the Chamber of Commerce and Investment of the country, traveled to Mazar-i-Sharif province along with the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan


 

Governor Khairullo “Bazarov” expressed his appreciation for participating in the Afghanistan–Uzbekistan Business Connectivity Conferences and emphasized the importance of maintaining such economic dialogues. He also thanked the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment for its role in facilitating and promoting bilateral trade relations.

In his remarks, Haji Faiz Ahmad “Khafi”, Deputy for Provincial Affairs of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, described the visit as a significant step toward strengthening economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. He expressed confidence that the outcomes of the visit would contribute to increased trade, greater investment opportunities, and enhanced economic collaboration between the provinces of both countries.

At the conclusion of the visit, B2B (Business-to-Business) meetings were held between Afghan and Uzbek entrepreneurs at the Continental Hotel in Mazar-e-Sharif. The meetings resulted in the signing of 25 commercial agreements worth over US$50 million, covering key sectors including agriculture and livestock, mining, handicrafts, carpet production, fresh and dried fruits, and other areas of economic cooperation.
